I can’t believe it’s been thirteen months since I purchased and started using the Seven Seas Standard! (Not to mention about thirteen months since I last posted…) Thirteen months may not seem like a long time. In my opinion as a stationery lover, however, if you still feel amicable towards a notebook-type product after thirteen months, not a whole lot can rend that relationship apart. Maybe you also know of the despair that comes with your own stubbornness as you gnash your teeth and refuse to leave behind a journal you didn’t really like. You become very familiar with a product’s lovable traits and quirks and detestable flaws.
I won a Goulet Pen Company Monday Matchup giveaway a few weeks ago, and received a Stipula Splash and a bottle of J. Herbin Stormy Grey. I was so surprised and excited when I found out I’d won–and I would like to thank the wonderful people over at the Goulet Pen Company for their generosity!
Way, way back in September, my friend got me a Lamy Safari. This is actually my first Lamy Safari: I’ve been in the fountain pen world for about three or four years! Incredible, I know.
Sorry for how unrevealing this sample is, but I only had an extra-fine nib. But on to the review!
Yet another Goulet Inkapalooza pick-up! I was pretty attracted to the color, so I thought: why not?
This is the second of the two bottles of Sailor Jentle inks that I own! Here we go!
Sailor Jentle Yama-dori is one of the newer inks released in the Sailor Jentle line after the past colors were discontinued. Unfortunately, a bunch of really popular colors are no longer being made (like Grenade: rest in peace), but I think the fountain pen community had high hopes for the new line.
